“Floral Pointillism” B

Collection in homage to the Pointillism, pictorial movement developed in France during the second half of the 19th century, characterized by the use of dots of colors. Creating this collection, I wanted to give a personal interpretation of this technique, taking inspiration from floral and plant motifs that I have placed into a geometric composition: in the middle these motifs are inside an astroid (a shape with four points that reminds a shining star), then enclosed by concentric squares.

Silk 100%, made in Como, hand-rolled – 40″x40″   –   55″x55″
