Pliniana Bag

“Homage to Floral Paisley”

Collection in homage to the Paisley, “classic” decorative pattern of the silk tradition. This ornamental typology, also called cashmere or boteh, had a great development around the half of the Nineteenth Century when the shawls with Paisley patterns were the trend of that moment. In the first half of the Twentieth Century, Como made Paisley one of its most important decorative patterns, using different shapes and compositions with the print technique. I have revisited the Paisley in a naturalistic setting, inserting inside it some floral patterns and groups of armonious flowers. All these elements lay on a geometric composition of concentric squares.
