“Homage to Caravaggio”

Collection in homage to Michelangelo Merisi, called Caravaggio (Milan, 29th September 1571 – Port’Ercole 18th July 1610), one of the most important artists who influenced the painting of the Italian Baroque. I inspired myself to some details of his works of art that I have freely elaborated. Caravaggio is one of the greatest masters of the Italian art, who managed to renovate the artistic conception of his time and to impose a new realistic language, catching the most dramatic moment of each character, thanks to his technique and the theatrical use of the light.
