“Homage to Piero della Francesca” B

Collection in homage to Piero della Francesca (about 1415 – 1492), inspired by the details of some of his works of art, that I have freely elaborated, such as Storie della Vera Croce, Sigismondo incontra San Sigismondo, Pala di Montefeltro, Polittico di Sant’Antonio and Maddalena. Piero della Francesca, one of the greatest artists who characterized the Italian 15th century, was not only a painter, but he was also a theorist and a scholar in mathematical sciences and geometry. He stayed and worked at the main courts in the North-Center Italy (Ferrara, Rimini and Urbino), at Rome for the Popes and at Arezzo.
