“Homage to the Venetian Liberty” C

Collection in homage to the Venetian Liberty and its most important exponent, Vittorio Zecchin (Murano, 1878-1947). He was one of the first Italian designers: starting from the painting, he showed interest in the decorative arts, especially in the glass of which he was an innovator, dealing with the fabrics, the embroidery, the mosaics and the interior design. His works, elegant and refined, are surprising for the chromatic combinations that express the Venetian tradition of the colors that traces its roots back to the Vivarinis, Bellini and Carpaccio. I inspired myself to some details of his works, that I have freely elaborated, and in particular to the cycle “The Arabian Nights”, masterpiece of the Liberty in Italy.
