Pirogue Bag

“Homage to Raineri”

Collection in homage to Carlo Antonio (1765-1826) and his son Vittorio (1797-1869) Raineri , ornate painting masters. They worked between the end of the 18th century and the first part of the 19th century in the Milanese area and they were specialized in depicting multicolor birds that expressed their exotic fantasies. I took inspiration from some details of their works of art depicting pheasants, blackcaps, parrots, spoonbills and cranes, enclosed in Victorian frames that I have freely elaborated.
