Pirogue Bag

“Homage to Postumia”

Collection in homage to the wonderful Treasures of Postumia, Roman Consular road built in BC 148 by the Roman consul Postumio Albino. This road ran across the North of Italy, connecting Genoa to Aquileia. I have freely elaborated some archeological relics: Medusa’s heads, phalerae (decorative elements of equestrian harnesses) with eight human heads of Celtic made, a Roman mosaic, statuettes of Venus and of a Roman warrior and bell-shaped vases decorated with acanthus leaves.
